Bed Bug Inspection Services

Feel like your being bitten by something? Have you been noticing spots but haven’t found any insects? Bed bugs are cryptic, nocturnal and can be hard to find if you are not trained what to look for!  That is why STANDARD PEST MANAGEMENT offers our bed bug visual inspection services. Our bed bug trained and experienced technician will report to your home and professionally inspect the key bed bug hot zones.

Bed Bug Visual Inspection:

The inspection is keyed to find:
  • Bed bugs or other insects that are commonly mistaken for bed bugs
  • Blood spots located on sheets or upholstered furniture
  • Cast skins- bed bugs shed their skins as they mature
  • Eggs- while very small they are not easily detected by an untrained eye

By looking for these things we should be able to determine whether or not you are experiencing a bedbug infestation or not. Areas inspected are beds, frames, box springs, and night tables in the immediate surrounding area. Passive monitor traps will be placed for your future reference.

Bed Bug Visual Inspection Plus:

In addition to the inspection we will place up to 12 Climb Up Interceptors traps under bed legs upholstered furniture as well as other monitoring devices. We will come back once to inspect the monitoring devices or you may send us your samples for identification by our on staff entomologist.

Bed Bug Visual Inspection Gold:

This is the our most inclusive bedbug visual inspection you can get. It involves:

  • Visual Inspection of bed and upholstered furniture
  • Placement of Climb Up Interceptors, and passive monitors
  • We will place a Biosensory NightWatch unit supplied with a fresh lure and full CO2 cartridge for a week to monitor your environment. We will pick up all insect samples as well as the NightWatch unit have all samples examined by our in house entomologist.
