Public Service In 1994, Standard performed, as a public service to the People of the City of New York, a highly successful roach elimination service on the Staten Island Ferry BARBERI. This service was highly publicized in all media forms and was enormously successful, once again emphasizing Standard's lead in large scale pest elimination by the use of alternative methods in the Metropolitan area. We here at Standard also contribute to and participate in the works of many good community and charitable organizations. Our technical director is on the staff of the City University of New York, teaching courses in Pest Control Technology and entomology, as well as being a consultant to various state and city agencies. Representatives are available for pest presentations to schools, civic groups, and organizations at no charge.
